Well the day is finally here. The 2012 NFL Draft is upon us and fans everywhere are growing anxious to finally get the show started.

For Bills fans it’s time to see just who Buddy Nix and company will peg to help get the team over the hump and back into the postseason for the first time since 1999.

There have been hundreds of mock drafts, including a few on this site, that are predicting the Bills to take an array of players, but it all means nothing once the clock hits 8:00 EST.

After reading through tons of draft “experts” who “know” exactly who Buffalo is going to draft, I’ve come to the conclusion that many of you have – no one knows anything, including myself.

As the witching hour approaches fast, my mindset is just to sit back and enjoy the show.

While my personal preference is for a skill receiver or a corner back, I truly can’t say that I will be disappointed with the Bills pick at number 10.  With a draft class as deep as this year’s is, there is a plethora of talent available that can make the Bills instantly better.

As far as what will unfold tonight as a whole, I expect maybe one or two trades at most. Hopefully I’m wrong. I love excitement as most people do. And the best way to keep fans excited is for some shocking pick or trade to take place.

No matter what happens, tonight will be a fun one.
