On being drafted by the Bills:

I was not surprised. I knew they were in the hunt of picking me and I am happy they chose me. I am happy to be a part of this organization. I am just ready to play some football now.

On Why He’s Excited to Play for the Bills:

The coach. I like the coaching staff. I like the offensive line coach (Joe D’Alessandris). I like the way he coaches, so (Buffalo) was definitely a big favorite of mine.

On If He’s Disappointed That He Wasn’t Drafted Sooner:

I would not say that. I am pretty happy with the team I got picked by.

I’d like to think Buffalo is his definite favorite now.

Round 3 (69): T.J. Graham, WR, NC State

Twitter Name: @Midnightryder6

On How He Felt About His Meetings with the Bills:

Yes, I felt really good. The meetings went well, meeting the coaching staff and Coach Gailey.

I’m very excited. It’s something I worked for my whole life. I’m just going to enjoy the opportunity I have now with the Buffalo Bills.

Twitter Reaction:

When good stay humble and when bad stay hungry! #GOBILLS #ISH #wow #show_me_the_money #TGOD

Round 4 (105): Nigel “Tarzan” Bradham, OLB, FSU

Twitter Name: @nigelbradham_13

On Being Drafted to the NFL:

It has been a dream and then to be able to actually have the opportunity to live that after all the hard work you put in and after everything you have been through in life. To be able to have the opportunity to help your family and contribute in any kind of way you can to your new organization.

On Taking Advantage of his NFL Opportunity:

I am definitely going to do that and put everything I can into it. I put my heart into this game. I am glad I am a part of the Bills organization now, just being able to have the opportunity to show that and to contribute and go out there to win games.

Twitter Reaction:

Round 4 (124): Ron Brooks, CB, LSU

Twitter Name: @YpaperplaneM13

On Being Picked By the Bills:

I’m just excited to finally know where I’m going and come to a good organization like the Buffalo Bills. It’s a lot of weight off my shoulders now and I’m just excited and ready to get to work.

Twitter Note: Ron’s account is protected.  You cannot see any of his tweets unless he accepts your request.  That said you can see a picture of him in a Buffalo Bills hat.

Round 5 (144): Zebrie Sanders, OL, FSU

Not On Twitter

His Thoughts of Being Drafted by the Bills:

I am just glad for the opportunity. I’m glad they selected me and gave me a shot out of all the other rookies. I’m just ready to get out there, prove myself and just start all over again. Earn my respect and hopefully get an opportunity to get on the field.

Round 5 (147): Ricky “Tank: Carder Jr., LB, TCU

Twitter Name: @tankcarder

On Being Drafted by the Bills:

I’m excited. When I went up there I had a good feeling. I loved everything (they) had, the facilities and everything were real low-key, it wasn’t anything too fancy and that was the best part I liked about it. Not a lot of flash and I love that. I’m ready to come there and do my part and help out the team the best I can.

If He Thought the Bills Would Select Him:

I knew ya’ll were in the running for sure. Ya’ll had me out there on a visit and I felt like the meeting with all the coaches, I had a good feeling. It was definitely a great feeling when I got the call and appreciate everything, you putting me on your team.

Where the Name Tank Came From:

I was 18-months old whenever I first got it. It was a family friend that started calling me Tank and I started responding to it. I was about 33 lbs. when I was 18 months old.

Twitter Reaction:

Buffalo Bills Baby! Still In shock!

Back from out on the lake! Looking foward to heading to buffalo!

It’s so real today to be a Buffalo Bill! Enjoyed every minute of my college career and am so excited to get to Buffalo #blessed #godisgood

Round 6 (178): Mark “Heimlich” Asper, OG/C, Oregon

Not on Twitter

On If He Considers Himself an Underdog:

No I consider all things equal. I don’t know exactly how it will work. I’ve never done it before. I’m going to approach it with the same attitude I did the first year I was eligible to play at Oregon. Camp is a time to prove yourself and to compete against the other people that are trying for a spot. I’ve never seen myself as an underdog. I’m confident in my abilities and my work ethic and my knowledge of the game. I don’t see it as any kind of obstacle being drafted later. If I’d have been drafted higher I would still have to prove myself and have to make the squad. I would still have to show up to camp ready to go and learn the offense, gel with the other offensive linemen. I think all things are equal once it’s time to play football.

Round 7 (251) John Potter, K, Western Michigan

Twitter Name: @johnmpotter (Hasn’t been used since December)

On His Reaction to Being Drafted:

I am stunned. I am excited. I never could have thought I would get drafted and would be able to play for a team like the Buffalo Bills.

On If He Was Watching When He Was Drafted/Contact with the Bills

I was watching. I have been talking to Coach (Bruce) DeHaven, so I saw the Bills down there with the third to last spot. I saw that but I never thought it would have been me. I was in shock when I got the call.

I have been talking to Coach DeHaven over the phone. He has been telling me that they are interested in how strong my leg was and they wanted me to come in.
