USA Hockey and the Buffalo Sabres have called a press conference for Monday afternoon at First Niagara Center to announce a “new” event for USA Hockey.

The event is expected to be the inaugural all-American prospects game.

It was back in January that USA Hockey first announced that it was creating an event that would help showcase draft-eligible American players. They also said that Buffalo was one of the possibilities to host the inaugural game.
